They will be new kits, in lead or resin... the Tanks look great in resin, and they have some heft

As an alternative Plastic Soldier Company produce 15 mm tank plastic models for the great war boardgame. They are complete and have a base undercoat and transfers on the A7V. German A7V, British Mk IV male and female and Whippet just releasing new French Tanks St Chammond and Schneider. Obviously prices will differ for the states but here in the UK it is £5.99 per A7V and MKIV and £16.50 for a box of 3 Whippets. The 2 french tanks are also £16.50. I have the A7V’s from the original german box set nice models but I am always careful handling them due to the fragile machine guns. I have the german and british tanks and find them much more hardier for game play and they have a good amount of detail on them. Chucked the BF british but size wise the A7V are of similiar length the the BF one slightly taller due to its metal tracks. I have not seen in person the french tanks. Any body interested can google to see pictures of the tanks as sold here is link to a blog to show what can be done with them http://wargamingwithbarks.blogspot.com/ ... tanks.html

How does the PSC Whippet compare size wise to the BF model?

Hi alamo the BF one is 2mm longer and 1 mm wider than the plastic one. The body of the plastic one is actually wider than the BF one length is the same. It is the much thicker metal tracks that make the difference I am not a fan of BF resin tanks because as here the track is slightly bent but too thick to bend back. I only noticed I still had the one BF model when the notice about the revised edition of the game went up I disposed off my Mk IV’s as I recall though resin there where a difference in size between the 2 sides that fitted into the resin hull.

Those PSC models look nice, I'm not surprised that BF has chosen not to do WW1 plastics at this stage.
