Didnt they make them for the Command and Colors game they came out with?
Yes. You can’t even find them under 15mm/100th size Minatures on the PSC web site, you have to go look under boardgames. But there you can purchase the miniatures and sprues separately.

I was considering doing a PSC French force as I already have complete BF British and German WW1 Forces. But one problem I noticed is that PSC did not make the integral infantry platoon LMGs. Maybe since then they have added them. Seemed like PSC had everyone else’s incukdong some items BF does not make, but the missing LMGs makes it hard to use PSC figures to build FoW WW1 Infantry Platoons.

I’ve not seen them side by side but they are both listed as “15mm.” You’ll need to figures out how to convert or scratch build the LMGs within your infantry Platoons if you use PSC. They have riflemen and HMGs but nothing inbetween.

EDIT: Correction - I see now that PSC has LMGs in the “Specialist Troops” set. These also have Flamethrowers, officers, Forward observers, etc. Just make sure you also get the Specialist so you can build those MG teams that are in the infantry Platoons.

Best I can show is the PSC Great War 18pdr crew I bought for an EW gun battery conversion.

PSC 18pdr next to BF EW 4.5" howitzer.

I have the figures from the CC game by PSC. I do not like the sculpts as much. The German helmets seem to be the WWII style.

The original hard plastic figures issued by PSC had only limited models and they of course where designed as game pieces for that board game. There is a new revised range in soft plastic with more models including lmg's, flamethrowers, spotters. However I would not use them but again very cheap option.

Thanks for the update. I did not realize the new PSC figures were soft plastic. I wonder how well they’d paint up? My soft plastic British MW Infantry has done well in taking and keeping its paint. Is the new PSC material similar or already they more game peice type material?

I wish they had an option to get the figures still on the sprue, I’ve really taken to painting BF plastic minis while on the sprue.
