Nice to know the 4 x 4 boards remain. Good to see new units, especially the Cavalry.
Playing Flames of War (main focus) and its variants, Bolt Action, Test of Honor, SW Legion, SW Armada, and now....Cruel Seas

So no veterans in the infantry company anymore hardly says assault infantry to me so important to the kaiser schlact battles. V3 carried over as well i take it that the allies all superior to germans in assaults except for stormtroopers unless the new jager kompanie meant to represent them as they are classed under assault troops.

During the German 1918 Peace Offensive, units were either assigned assault or mop up duties, a mix of infantry with Stoss will be the most accurate force you can run.

Ok Mitch book is written still feel this game is more structered towards the 100 days campaign to the end of the war rather than all of 1918. Even more so with cavalry and armoured cars added to the lists. Assault divisions had received the youngest, fittest recruits been in training from 1917 for the spring offensives in storm troop tactics. Yet allied platoons have the special assault rule.
Also fail to understand why you would have given the 27th as as the name of your jager force as they fought on the eastern front.

Good Questions,
1) The forces cover the Kaiser Offensive until the end of the war. Mixing Stoss with regular german infantry gives you a very accurate replication of how German forces looked in March 1918.

2) Correct on the 27th. I added them in name because they were a very unique unit that adds some flavor to the game. The 27th also didn't see much combat during the war. They also represent some of the remaining Jager units left in the German Army in 1918.
